Checkout questions collect details for each rider and day, or for a purchased product. Only organization admins can change question setup. Saved changes apply to future checkout. Past purchases keep their original prompts and answers.

Add a question

  1. Open Checkout Questions under Products & Checkout.
  2. Select Add Question.
  3. Enter Prompt.
  4. Add Description (optional) if the reader needs more detail.
  5. Choose Ask for.
  6. For a product question, choose Product or All products of this kind.
  7. Choose Answer type.
  8. Select Required answer if an answer is necessary.
  9. Select Save Question.

Each rider and day asks for registration details. Add-on purchase, Coaching purchase, and Pass purchase ask about those products. A product question can apply to one product or all products of its kind.

Choose the answer type

Use Text for a written answer. Use Choice for one answer from a list. Enter one option per line under Choices, with 2 to 30 distinct options. Use Yes or no when either answer is valid.

A required yes/no question needs an answer. It does not require Yes. Do not use that question type to require agreement to a statement.

Include answers on sheets

For a registration question, select Show answer on printed group sheets when staff need its answer there. Product questions do not have that option. Set separate checkbox columns in Printed Sheets. Select Save Question after changing the option.

Printed sheets show a question's answers only while that option remains selected. Removing the question also removes it from printed sheets. Its past purchase answers remain in Orders.

Edit or remove a question

Open the question's actions menu. Select Edit to change its setup. Select Save Question to apply the change.

Use Move Up or Move Down to change question order. Each move saves immediately. Use Remove to stop asking the question at future checkout. Read the confirmation and select Remove.

Use Rosters to correct a current booking's answers. Those corrections do not replace the purchase answers in Orders.
