Add a Rich text or Image + text block to explain your organization’s services.

Format text

Rich text and Image + text blocks have a text editor with formatting buttons.

  1. Type your text in Text.
  2. Place the cursor in a paragraph. Select Heading, Subheading, or Paragraph to set its style.
  3. Select Bulleted list or Numbered list to start a list. Press Enter twice to end the list.
  4. Select words and choose Bold or Italic to apply emphasis. Select the same button again to remove it.
  5. Select words and choose Link. Enter a web address or a site path such as /about.

Press Enter at the end of a heading to start a paragraph. Select several paragraphs before choosing Bulleted list or Numbered list to make them list items. Select the same list button again to turn the selected items into paragraphs. To make a heading into a list item, select Paragraph first.

Click a paragraph, heading, or list item three times to select its text. Type to replace the selection while keeping the next paragraph or item separate.

Use Remove link to remove a link from the selected text. Pasted text uses plain formatting. Save the block and check the Preview before you publish.

Add a label above a heading

Most blocks with a heading have a Label above heading field. The label is a short line above the heading, such as "Event day". It uses your accent color and starts with the slanted mark from your theme. A label needs a heading. In a Rich text block, start the text with a heading. In a Hero block, use Label above headline.

Arrange text in a layout

A Rich text block has a Text layout:

  • Standard shows the text in one column.
  • Heading beside text — start with a heading puts the first heading beside the text on wide screens. On phones, the heading appears above the text.
  • Columns — each heading starts a column lets you compare items, such as coaching levels. Add at least two headings. Text before the first heading appears above the columns.

Trackside chooses how many columns fit on each screen.
