Trackside gives each full-integration organization a public site . Use the staff console to edit it.
Open the Website area
- Sign in to the staff console.
- If you work with more than one organization, open the organization menu in the header and choose your organization. On a phone, open the navigation menu first.
- Under Website, open Pages to create and edit pages.
Trackside remembers your organization when you open the staff console in another tab in the same browser. A link to a specific organization opens that organization. Tabs already open keep their current organization. If you lose access to your saved organization, Trackside opens the first organization you can access.
The Website group also has FAQ and Sponsors. Open Theme for colors, fonts, and your logo. Open Media Library for site images.
If you cannot see these tools, check that you opened the correct organization. Organizations that use Operations or only rentals do not have a Trackside site.
Know what your role can change
Viewers can read the Website screens and check the preview. Operators and administrators can edit pages, FAQ entries, sponsors, images, and the theme.
You can work on a page's draft without changing the published page. When you are ready, use Publish in the page editor. Changes to the theme, FAQ, sponsors, address, and navigation apply when you save them. Check the live site after each of those changes.
Set up in a useful order
- Upload your logo and other images in Media Library. Add clear alt text to each image.
- Set colors, fonts, logo, and layout in Theme. Check the contrast report before you save.
- Create a home page in Pages. Leave its Address empty.
- Add blocks and check the page's Preview. Publish when the page is ready.
- Add any other pages your visitors need. Put them in the main menu, footer, or neither.
The site shows a placeholder until you publish a home page. View Site opens the current site in a new tab. The page editor also has View on Site.
Preview event and pass pages
Open Events under Operations or Passes under Products & Checkout. Open a listing, then select Preview on site. Staff can see the draft page. Visitors cannot see or buy it. Publish the event or pass when it is ready for visitors.
When an event listing is open, its name appears beneath Events in the navigation. Select the name to choose another event or rental listing. On a phone, open the navigation menu first.
Connect and test payments
Organization administrators open Payments under Settings to connect Square Live or start a private test. See Connect Square and test your site for real payment setup. Use Test purchases on your site to check purchases without a payment connection.
